Effective 1/1/2012, Allegheny Energy Federal Credit Union changed its name to FirstEnergy FEDERAL Credit Union.
Our membership charter allows us to offer membership and services to ALL FirstEnergy Corp. employees and their family, since Allegheny Energy, Inc. was acquired by FirstEnergy Corp. The bottom line is that in terms of doing business with us, nothing has really changed. We’re still the same credit union and we’ll continue providing excellent service and useful products as we have for the last 77 years. Thank you for your valued membership.
